How to adjust a charging point configuration
1. Log in to admin.wattify.be. Click on the hamburger menu (☰) in the top-left corner to open the navigation menu, then select Charging Points from the main menu. You will see a table showing all the charging points in your account, with the columns Charging Site, Name, Device Number, Connectivity (online/offline) and OCPP server. admin.wattify.be -> Charging Points -> List
Screen: Charging Points – List Table with columns: Charging Site · Name · Device Number · Connectivity (online/offline) · OCPP server · Edit icon
The Charging Points overview. Click on the name of a charging point or on the edit icon on the right-hand side of the row.
The online/offline status is updated in real time via the OCPP heartbeat. You can still edit an offline charging point – the settings will be synchronised as soon as the connection is restored.
2. Click on the name of the desired charging point in the table, or click on the ✏️ edit icon at the far right of the row. You will be taken to the Edit Charging Point page. At the top of the page are three buttons: Save changes, a Wi-Fi icon for the connection status, and Create QR to generate a QR code for this charging point. Next to these are two tabs: Details and Settings.
3. The Details tab is active by default. Here you’ll find the key details of the charging point. Edit charging point – Details tab
Screen: ‘Details’ tab Fields: Name · Device ID · Charging site (drop-down) · First heartbeat · Last heartbeat
Action buttons in the top right-hand corner of the card. The ‘Details’ tab displays the charging point’s basic information. The action buttons on the right send direct OCPP commands.
4. There are nine small icons inthe top right-hand corner of the charging point card. Each icon allows you to send a direct OCPP command to the charging station. Hover over an icon to see the tooltip.
*Please note – Disconnect: The reset buttons send an immediate OCPP command. This may interrupt an ongoing charging session. Only use the reset function if a charging station is unresponsive or displaying an error.
5. Click the Settings tab at the top to access the technical and billing settings.
Edit charging point – Settings tab
Screen: ‘Settings’ tab Fields: OCPP server (drop-down) · Order (optional)
Billing section: Last subscription billed · Last commission billed · ‘Billing off’ toggle
The Settings tab with the OCPP server setting and billing options. Billing off -> Toggle this switch on to temporarily pause automatic billing for this charging point – useful in the event of a fault or maintenance. The charging point remains operational but will not be billed.
6. Click ‘Save changes’ in the top right-hand corner or at the bottom of the page. If you wish to cancel without saving, click ‘Cancel’. Once saved, the updated settings are automatically sent to the charging station via OCPP. For some settings – such as the OCPP server itself – the charging station will need to be restarted for the changes to take effect.
